Sometimes you may need to get hold of money till payday on the same day. Loans are available that can be acquired quickly when you need a small cash loan in a hurry. You loan can be paid into your bank account where you can use it to make payments directly from your account or withdraw the cash from the bank or a cash point.
Payday loans are essentially same day loans, this means that you are able to obtain the money the same day as you apply for the loan. These types of small cash loans are unsecured which means you are not securing your home or car against the loan. They are usually preferable to secured loans as you are not risking losing your home if you take out an unsecured loan.
To get a same day loan you will usually have to be at least 18 years of age and be a UK resident in full time employment. You will also need to have a UK bank account and possibly have a debit card associated with that bank account.
These requirements do vary between lenders and so you may be required to be 25 years or older for these lenders. Although being in full time employment is preferred you may be eligible for same day cash loans if you are unemployed, retired, disabled, self employed or work part time. You will usually be asked to provide some proof or a regular income if this is the case.
You will however need to have a current UK bank account in your name and registered to your current address. Some lenders do also require you to have a debit card associated with that account, these are known as debit card loans. There are also no debit card loans available that do not require you to have a debit card to obtain a same day loan.
